I corresponded a little with Dennis about this off-list. If the
culprit is a mis-configured Ghostscript, it must be the one that comes
with the LilyPond install for Windows, and I'd think that should be
fixed in the distribution rather than relying on the end user to do
something (I don't know what) to fix it.
