Consider this:
R1*2 |
\acciaccatura { s8 } R1*2 |
\acciaccatura { s8 } R1*2 |
(In a score, the \acciaccatura commands are necessary to get proper
horizontal spacing.)
If skipBars is set to #t, it should result in a single 6-Bar rest
instead of three two-bar rests (which is what you currently get).
With other words, grace notes should be completely ignored in multibar
rests.
