That's weird. I just reran the same file and I got the error you have. The error I reported was cut-n-pasted from the compilation buffer, and I *swear* I'm not lying!

Oh well, that's got to be the most efficient bug fix I've ever seen...

Err, it's not really a bug fix. It still claims that "no \version statement found", which is incorrect.
