Cannot compile lilypond (2.8.8, 2.10.1)

I want to update the lilypond package for frugalware, but I can't get it
compiling: it fails at the very same place regardless of which version of
lilypond I want to compile. Here are the buildlogs for the mentioned lilypond
versions:

Please let me know if I have missed something, or what's wrong with the
buildscript, available online for lilypond-2.8.7:
