Lilymidi 2.11.28 on Mac OS X 10.4.10

When using lilymidi 2.11.28 on Mac OS X 10.4.10, I get the error  
below. Perhaps a resource is amiss? I have succeeded converting,  
quite some time ago, the file using lilymidi 2.11.19, but also that  
lilymidi failed when trying to redo it now. The input file was  
converted from ABC, but there seems no conversion difference between  
2.11.28 and 2.11.19. Also, it seems to matter little what arguments I  
pass to lilymidi: remove --dump, or even pass a file that does not  
exist results in the same error. So is this perhaps a Mac OS X  
10.4.10 related problem?
