I've just posted another very familiar bug that I can't find on the tracker. Are we sure that every known bug is listed on the tracker, or could it be useful to browse the -bug list archives looking for unresolved bugs?
Every officially acknowledge bug is listed on the tracker -- by definition. In other words, if there's an old bug that didn't get added to the tracker, it has become "unofficial". :)
If you're really, really, really bored, go ahead and browse the -bug list for old bugs, test them, then send them in again. It took me about three months to add all the old bugs that I had listed (after testing them and producing minimal examples), so I am very willing to believe that I missed some. However, I think your time would be better spent on other things. :)
But yes, please report any bugs that aren't in the google tracker. Cheers, - Graham
