What I mean is that the alignment should be done relative to the
note column at the same time position within the measure (if there
is one). Of course, we cannot support the automatic difference in
alignment of melismata compared to non-melismata syllables, but it 
should at least be
possible to change the alignment by setting
self-alignment-X of the LyricText object.

If this is technically difficult with the current implementation, we 
should still
keep it as a feature request for future versions.
