Issue 519: PDF filesize has increased between 1.9.8 and 2.10

The filesize of PDF appears to have increased at some point in this large
gap.  Laura believes that this occurred before 2.8.


This issue has been marked "postponed" because we really don't have enough
information to investigate.  If anybody is interested in this issue, please
do the following:
- create a single example which you can run in different lilypond versions.
- check the PDF size in different lilypond versions.
- when you have found the release that increases the size dramatically,
send an email to the bug mailist.

At the very least, we need to know which stable release (the even X in 2.X)
increased the filesize.  If you can track it down further, that's 
better of
course.  The more information we have, the faster we can fix this.
