Hi, 

I am very interested in using Lilypond. It seems very accurate and clean. But I
have a big problem. 

I have a MacBook Pro, with MacOS X 10.5 (Intel) Leopard. I have downloaded the
versions 2.10.33-1 and 1.11.37-1 for MacOS X 10.4, but they do not work
properly. There is not any menu in the toolbar. It only appears the word
"Lilypond" and that is all. I have had to force exit in two occasions. 

I had a look to the documentation in order to learn how to compile Lilypond, but
it is very complicated to me. Moreover, I am a new user of Mac. 

Can you help me with this? Is there anything I can do? 

Thank you very much for your attention, and for create a such useful and pretty
thing as Lilypond.
