Issue 370: slur #'positions silently does not place slur at actual position
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=370
Comment #6 by gpermus:
There seems to be some confusion about this.
FEATURE REQUEST: make
\override Slur #'positions = #'(30 . 30)
actually place slurs in those positions.
This would apparently require a lot of rewriting of the slur handing
code. That's
fine; this is not an urgent request. It can sit in the tracker for the
next 5 years,
but we should keep this record.
DOCUMENTATION: this was added to the docs six months ago. If you think
that adding
the warning to the "position" property was a bad solution (instead of
adding text to
NR slurs), we can talk about it... but that's a separate issue.
