New issue report by jaime.oliver2:
BUG: when splitting notes with ties, the remainder (in the next bar) is not tied:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(Please attach or insert a small .ly fragment to duplicate)

%% this is the code that makes the mistake:

\version "2.10.33"
\paper{ ragged-right=##t }

\new Voice \with {
        \remove "Note_heads_engraver"
        \consists "Completion_heads_engraver"
}
\relative c' {
\time 4/4
c4 c4 c2.~ c4
}

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
(Please attach a small output image in PNG or PDF file to show the problem)

This should produce: c4 c4 c2~ | c4~ c4 ........or even better: c4 c4 c2~ | c2
but it produces: c4 c4 c2~ | c4 c4

these results are attached as PDF files.

What version of LilyPond are you using? \version "2.10.33"
On what operating system? OS X Version 10.4.11
