Please don't say our interest in bug reports is limited. Is *your*
interest in having a bug-free program limited?

Let me clarify what Mats said earlier:
the only reason why some bug reports are not properly addressed is our
lack of resources. We don't have enough people nor enough time to keep
maintaining old versions of LilyPond correctly. Therefore, our policy
is to provide our users with up-to-date versions that include new
features and as many bugfixes as we can. We use to maintain a "stable
branch" as long as we can, but when the next stable version is about
to be released (which is the case here), then ensuring *its* stability
and fixing *its* becomes our priority.

The "mentioned" version number is not just a mention: it tells us
whether you've tried the latest version or not. The version you
mentioned in the first place is more than two years old, the other
version you mentioned is more than one year old. A huge amount of work
has been put in the program since then; I strongly invite you to give
our latest development version a try, and help us making it better
before the next stable release.

Cheers,
Valentin
