Thanks for this thought, but I have tracked it down to me being daft!
I had installed the OOo add-on but NOT LilyPond itself.
It all works now.

I know nothing about this, so pardon my ignorance. But this looks
like an OO issue, not a LilyPond issue. Is it perhaps caused by
misspelling CursorPosition as CurserPosition?
