Perhaps you could enlighten me as to some more specifics. This error still  
occurs for
me using 2.12.2-1 (from January 25) using the default test file on OSX  
10.4.11.

And, in the interest of full disclosure:

head ~/Applications/LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/bin/convert-ly

/usr/bin/env
