New issue 829 by lemzwerg: split Metafont output into smaller units
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=829
Currently, we get warnings like this while Metafont processes the feta and
parmesan fonts:
some charht values had to be adjusted by as much as 0.3254pt
some chardp values had to be adjusted by as much as 0.2815pt
Reason is that the number of non-zero height and depth values is limited
to 15.
This problem can be circumvented by using more output subfonts with, say,
approx. 16 glyphs per subfont. Later on, such subfonts are easily merged
again by FontForge to whatever we need.
