Also, on GNU/Linux, are you setting up point-and-click functionality  
according to

http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.13/Documentation/usage/Point-and-click

?

If so, then I think the problem is related to the `lilypond-invoke-editor'  
script,
since Guile 1.8.* and earlier has poor support for wide characters.  I've  
already
started looking into this.
