The changes to the buttons are easy, and have been done.

THe popup window is also done.

The code for update does just what you asked for, and it copies the file,  
but apparently the git reset is done
before the file is copied.  I think there's a synchronization thing going  
on.  I'll try to figure it out.

I'll also create an "Are you sure?" dialog that pops up when the Abort  
button is pushed.

I'm not that concerned about the creation of an empty ./aborted_edits  
directory.  I don't see that it hurts
anything, so I'm inclined to just let it work that way.

I'll be happy to have you figure out how to do the parsing of the return  
code for each of the calls to get the
right information messages up.
