The fact that this script fetches a shallow clone (option "--depth 1" of  
this fetch)
makes it useless for translators that don't start a translation from  
scratch, as
tools like check-translation need history in order to work properly.   
Therefore I
suggest to drop --fetch flag if 'translator' is set to 1.

I'll test this script further after I've sorted out other lp-book issues.
