Item for myself:

We need a mechanism to add a patch to the lilypond source tree before
compiling it in GIT, so that we can build GUB with the latest release in
the news, and (more importantly) the right devel links.  We can't push this
patch onto normal git first, in case the release is delayed (building
problems, OS-specific problems), or in case the website is updated before
the release happens.

I don't think it'll be too hard, but it'll take a few hours.
