I don't understand why we should distribute docballs in a format other than
a bzipped
tarball, and even less when it comes to provide several formats: our docs
are so huge
that IMO a bzipped tarball is the best compromise between widely available
decompression software (IIRC 7-zip on Windows will do, and bzip2 is
extremely common
on Unix systems), and the best compression — a better compression could be
achieved
with less common tools like lzma.
