Comment #5 on issue 980 by percival.music.ca: separate git repositories for
lilypad and/or gub
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=980
John: as Patrick mentioned, Jan and I aren't happy with the current
http://github.com/janneke/gub address.
We could certainly move it to savannah. As a sub-repo of lilypond? I
could get
git://git.sv.gnu.org/lilypond/gub.git
set up by sending one email. **if** that's what we decide we want. Since
gub is
used for denemo, and can be used for openoffice and inkscape, this might
not be
appropriate.
Do we want a separate savannah project? That's probably possible, but
requires a bit
more administrative work.
Do we just want to dump it in repo.or.cz, like Patrick has done? I'm not
necessarily
opposed to this, but I haven't seriously considered it yet.
I'm not suggesting that this is a difficult task to complete, but these
issues aren't
only used for hard items. This task has survived 4 paper todo lists, so I
figured it
was time to finally dump it in the tracker.
