The whole infrastructure of pictures/ (and maybe css/) directories should
be revisited.  Currently, the website requires a
  website/index.html
  pictures/
directory.  It would be nice if this could live inside, as in
  website/pictures/
although it's not critical.

For the CSS, I think we're currently copying every single css file into
every single doc output dir.  If that's true, it would be nice if we just
had one css/ dir, and made symlinks or whatever to take care of the rest.
