In the following example, the non-tuplet eighth note is beamed with the
tuplet. As Carl noted, this is not how it ideally should look like.

\version "2.13.9"

\relative c'' {
   \time 3/4
   c4. c8 \times 2/3 { c aes g }
}


AFAICR, this has never worked. But the new beaming code may help solving  
this.
