Yes, that *is* obvious.
1) is that python added to the windows command-line? no.
2) is it easy to set up? maybe, but why tempt fate?
3) does it come with tkinter? you've said not, and that would be my guess.
4) if it doesn't come with tkinter, could it use the tk that's part of
wingit? I
doubt it.
In short, lily-git.tcl is easy for windows users to use. They must install
wingit
first, but they'd need to do that anyway. I do not think that python is a
replacement in this case.
(I could just about imagine using pyinstaller or py2exe to build an
executable... but
then that standalone executable would need git packaged in with it, maybe
as part of
GUB, and then we're just getting into completely ridiculous territory)
