Comment #6 on issue 934 by hanwenn: GUB doesn't include Japanese fonts
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=934
right,
family Sazanami Mincho
Sazanami Mincho,さざなみ明朝:style=Mincho-Regular,Regular
so, you have a japanese font and LilyPond sees it. The GUB run just load
this. Can
you look at the .log output for utf-8.ly (perhaps run --verbose), and see
what fonts
it loads? Also, look at the .eps intermediate file. Does it load a
japanese font?
Look for comments saying something like %%DocumentIncludedResource:
<fontname>
Whether or not GUB should ship with japanese fonts is IMO a different
question
altogether. Note that cjk fonts are very large, so this will blow up the
tarball a
lot.
