The bibliography in essay.pdf contains strings like
"brandt:_stand_chord_symbol_notat', 'cowell30:_new_music_resour', etc.
They shouldn't be there.

Those come from one (or more) of the scripts that conver the bib into html,
then into texi, then into pdf+html+info.
