In patch 879043 fixing bug 1053, when estimating the height of a system, we
enumerate over the elements of the system's vertical alignment group.  This
way, only the height of the staves is accounted for, but there may be
elements in the system other than staves, e.g. bar numbers.  See the
illustrations to bug 1061: "lyrics.ly", "lyrics.pdf", and comments in that  
bug.
