Thanks for the thought, Dmytro, but in the future, I would leave patches up  
to Marek.
 In particular, he would:
1. not add something under discussion.  (it's awkward to have a split  
discussion,
partly on the issue tracker, partly on the mailing list.  If there's active
discussion on the mailing list, adding it to the tracker only slows  
everybody down)
2. add a "Patch" label.

The only point of adding code changes to this issue tracker is to avoid  
losing them
if nobody's paying attention to them.
