Here's a simple bash script that updates every occurrence of old-version in
the repository to new-version.
I'd be happy to add it to scripts/auxiliar
Note that it *doesn't* cover convertrules.py, because convertrules.py uses
2, 13, 28 instead of 2.13.28.
But at least this gets the version update down to two actions:
1) run update-patch-version
2) edit convertrules.py
If this looks promising, I'll add it. If not, I'll use it anyway, and my
stress level will go *way* down.
