Hi David

I think the snippet is behaving as intended. It is
not a bug.

It would not make sense to position a pp dynamic mark
in the gap created in a hairpin which goes from mf to
sff, would it? The hairpin relates to the lower of the
two voices, with the gap in the hairpin corresponding
to the rest in that voice. In that gap the upper
voice has a single note, which is to played pp.

That makes sense. I would not actually interrupt the hairpin at all in
that case (or at least continue it with dashed lines). Maybe the
accompanying text can be amended so that the intent becomes clearer?

It could, but as the snippet was already clear enough
to me I'm not motivated to do this myself. After all,
any LP user can offer an amended snippet to the LSR.

Trevor
