On http://lilypond.org/help/ under "The lilypond-user mailing list" it
says "You can use whichver archive". Should be "whichever".
Thanks for the report, but that's on the unsupported old website,
so nobody is likely to fix it.
I kind-of expected that, but thought the words may have been transferred
to the new site.
I'm confused -- are you mentioning this as a user, or as the Bug
Meister?
- as a user: thanks for your report! One of our Bug Squad members
(I believe that Valentin is "on duty" today) will investigate
this report.
- as the Bug Meister: that's your job, not mine. If we receive
any report -- be it about the software, website, etc -- it's
your job to figure out if it applies to the current development
version (in this case, lilypond.org/website/ is "development"),
or the latest stable version (which it does), and then bring
it to the attention of developers (generally with a new issue,
but in this case an email is fine).
So -- we have a problem report about the "stable" website, but for
various reasons that's not going to be acted up. Does this same
problem apply to the "development" website?
Bug Squad, please investigate ("look at the Community->Contacts
page") and let me know if there's a problem.
Cheers,
- Graham
