Shouldn't brackets take accidentals into account?

Hi guys,

Most of the time it's hardly noticeable, but if you look closely
you'll see that in the following example the OttavaBracket starts
above the *NoteHead*, and not the accidental (the same happens with
PedalBrackets).

\layout { ragged-right = ##f }

\relative c' {
  c2 d d'
  \ottava #1
  eeses f1
}

The printed scores I looked at are quite inconsistent about that. Most
of the time their brackets start well before the note anyway, so it's
hard to tell whether accidentals make a difference or not. I spotted a
few places where the bracket is clearly aligned with the accidental,
but it's hardly consistent.

What do Ross&Co. have to say about that?

Cheers,
Valentin
