New issue 1360 by v.villenave: Enhancement: ancient tuplet notation
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1360
As reported by a user on -fr[0], it seems that in late 16th, early 17th
century scores, a common engraving practice was to indicate tuplets by
printing a "3" inside the Staff just prior to the affected notes. See
attached examples, from a piece by Claude Le Jeune.
Of course, there are workarounds (I posted one on the -fr list). However,
maybe we want to properly support this kind of notation, for example as
part of the Petrucci style?
