Hi!

Are you sure you are not trying to compile while your score is actually
opened with Acrobat Reader?
Close your score PDF from Acrobat Reader and then compile.

IIRC, I had similar error message when I tried to compile a score that
was actually opened as a PDF.
It happened only under Windows and with Acrobat Reader.

But I may be wrong (I have not used LilyPond under Windows recently).
