Unfortunately not:

"Note: The automatic comparison of the regtests checks the
LilyPond bounding boxes. This means that Ghostscript changes and
changes in lyrics or text are not found."

Figured bass evidently counts as "text" for this purpose.
Incidently, this explains why nobody noticed it break in 2.13.14.
