Don't be stupid by trying to use command-line git.  We've spent
approximately 20 hours creating a point&click tool to take care of git
for you.  Looking at any git instructions other than "using lily-git"
is a waste of your time, and makes a waste out of the time that Carl
and others put into lily-git.tcl.
