Comment #17 on issue 1105 by address@hidden: clean up our css files
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1105I've had a quick look at the 2 primary CSS files we now have, and it won't be possible to blindly merge same or similar styles - there is very little in common (the only thing I saw on a browse is the link colours). Even where there are common style types, the positioning used is different. I think it would be possible to simplify them, (e.g. by checking that all the styles in the sheet are actually used)but it would take a while and would really need something like a regression tester for the HTML files. You think I should create a new "Simplify CSS files" issue?
(BTW - there are 2 other CSS files in the build - text-to-speech.css and lilypond-ie-fixes.css - I can't find a single reference to the former and am planning to delete it. The latter could be considered in the new issue).
