True.  We should have linked the original thread, including Carl's mention

But strongly linked. Responding to the warning also resolves the collision.

The collision is a case of minimum-distance confusion, closely related to  
issue 1442.  I just sent a separate example to bug-lilypond that I believe  
isolates the collision aspect of this report.
