Comment #28 on issue 1635 by address@hidden: clean up misleading warnings in website build
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1635

Just applied the patch and ran make website. Certainly a *ton* cleaner and feels much faster. Well done, Phil!

The burned-out alpha geek in me (ran a development shop in a PPOE), worries that we're covering the symptoms, albeit to good effect, but we still don't understand *why* and *whether* the make should be looking for those files in that place at that point. I mean, Phil has turned off the misleading messages, so doc writers and others testing website builds have less to alarm them, but . . . It feels a bit like dealing with the oil warning on the dashboard with a bit of duct tape. In that sense, the issue can fairly be called fixed (we don't see the warnings), but I hope to understand the make process to the point where the warnings wouldn't be triggered at all.
