http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1776I think that "Compound time signatures" snippet should be deleted from "selected snippets" in @unnumberedsubsubsec "Polymetric notation"(http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.15/Documentation/notation/displaying-rhythms#polymetric-notation) and a new @unnumberedsubsubsec called "Compound meter" should be added, containing a brief description of how \compoundMeter works. The regtest lilypond-git/input/regression/compound-time-signatures.ly contains a nice description and some examples.
