the slurs to be below the notes and i was tempted to write my example with
{\voiceOne \slurDown … } but respecting the rules of minimal examples i
built this little snippet.

with polyphonic music it often happens that the voices come very close and
to preserve the character of each voice you want to write each voice as if
it was written singularly (as long as this is possible, of course).

in the IR there is lot of subproperties listed under "3.1.94 Slur details"
but i couldn't manage to get them work and achieve e.g. a reduction of the
distance from the slur to the related notehead, flatten the curve of the
slur or others.
and, honestly, i believe the computer could do such calculations and
optimisations better than a human.
