http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1839are stems universal? I only aks because looking at the facsimile, I like the thicker and 'stumpier' stems on the 'diamond' note heads compared to the others (the longas?) the proposed version looks a bit 'insipid' (nearly a musical pun!) :)
Just my opinion.
