Comment #3 on issue 1884 by address@hidden: Warnings from simultaneous slurs with parallel music
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1884

I'd argue the regression isn't {printing a warning} instead of {silently dropping notation}. Rather, it's {printing a warning in a reasonable and documented use of \partcombine} instead of {*not* printing a warning in a reasonable and documented use of \partcombine}".

It might not be a regression in the context of simple simultaneous music (really, this goes over my head, I won't judge.) But with \partcombine it's a documented use [1] that used to compile flawlessly, and now warns.

"Used to work/doesn't anymore" is my definition of a regression. YMMV :-)

Any suggestions on how to work around and/or fix?

[1] For example use in the documentation, see the "Selected snippets" example in the "Automatic part combining" of the Notation Reference: http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.14/Documentation/notation/multiple-voices.html#automatic-part-combining and http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.14/Documentation/5a/lily-75d8dfd0.ly
