Windows PATH got cleared upon lilypond install

installed lilypond yesterday, But when I tried to run gcc just now, I said the 
command was not found, so I checked my 
PATH and it was cleared with only the path to my lilypond install listed!

I don't know if anyone else has had this issue or if it's already been 
reported, 
but this is really annoying. Now I 
have to re-add all my PATH variables. If anybody knows of a way to restore the 
Windows PATH without using system 
restore, I'd love to hear it.

Btw, I'm running Microsoft Windows 7 Professional x64 Service Pack 1.
