In a bit more detail, the regtest comparisons for logfiles is generated using the (IIRC) unified format for diff:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diff#Unified_format

If you see a
+some text
then it means that there was extra output on the command-line.  Conversely,
-some text
then it means that there was less output.

Either is a cause for concern, but in this case ("suppress output for expected warnings"), having less output on certain regtests is expected and intended.
