I don't have my LilyPond setup available, so I have to tell you what I remember. Try \left-column instead of \column, or add a \left-align. There was a deliberate change in the choice of reference points and, thus, extents of markups with center-alignment during the development of LilyPond 2.13 which causes this unexpected behaviour. IIRC, this problem occured on lilypond-user before, I just could not find it right now.
For the record, I don't think it's a bug or regression, rather a deliberate change in semantics.
