Recipe to reproduce: just type make doc and CTRL-C fast enough when you start to see the error messages. The exact failing command is at the top of the attached log file. See also the python traceback there.

I've just done a git pull, make and make doc without seeing this error, Julien. I also ran musicxml2ly directly on the 01a-Pitches-Pitches.xml file, and Frescobaldi was perfectly happy with the result. I notice you have compiled your lilypond into ~/git/lilypond which is not our recommended (and supported) location, but I'm not well-enough versed in Python or the musicxml2ly code to say if this is part of the problem.

If you have a chance, would you be willing to do a clean build in ~/lilypond-git and let us know if the problem is still there?

Cheers,
Colin
