http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1943umm, Christian Hitz has been actively working on this. His latest test was in comment 11, and judging from comment 12, the test works. (at least for one person)
More testing and/or patches would be certainly be nice, but right now I see no reason to panic about this.
