My patch, in contrast, is Scheme-only, and there are quite limited possibilities for Scheme-only code (apart from triggering bad C++ code or violating assumptions underlying C++ code) to cause error messages like that.
So Mike: can you recheck your 5ac2664c2207e8dfa1734d786e5c7b214b275521 checkin using --no-optimize or whatever else it was we used to check for undead objects?
