http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2090it seems that only this example (lilypond -e '(define-public a 42)') requires quotes (-dpoint-and-click=#f can be written without quotes - please verify under Linux! - and if so this example could be written without quotes) so that a simple addition like
*under Windows use double quotes instead* would do it!the advantage is not having to care about the availability of the external link.
